The SoundCloud app lets you listen to music uploaded by artists and labels. This wikiHow shows you how to combine individual tracks available on SoundCloud into a single playlist.

Steps

  1. 1

Tap on the SoundCloud app to open it. The SoundCloud icon looks like a white cloud on an orange background.

    • You must be logged in to a SoundCloud account to use the app. If this is your first time using the SoundCloud app, you'll need to create an account before continuing. Enter your email address and choose a password when prompted.
  2. 2

Tap on the name of a song to start playing it. The song's name appears at the bottom of the screen.

    • Tap the Search icon to search for a specific song, artist or album. The Search icon is the second from the bottom right corner and looks like a magnifying glass.
    • You can quickly find tracks that you've already liked by tapping on the My Library icon. The My Library icon is on the bottom right corner of the SoundCloud window and looks like two straight vertical lines with one slanted vertical line on the end.
  3. 3

Tap on the name of the song on the bottom of the screen. This brings up a full-screen player.

  4. 4

Tap on ••• . The More icon is on the bottom right corner of the full-screen player and looks like three dots in a horizontal row.

  5. 5

Tap "Add to playlist" on the submenu that comes up. This shows a page with all the playlists you've created so far.

    • If you have no existing playlists, SoundCloud automatically creates a new playlist and prompts you to name it.
  6. 6

Tap on the plus sign in the upper right hand corner. This creates a new playlist.

  7. 7

Enter a name for the playlist when prompted. Once you enter the name, your playlist will contain the song that was playing when you started the process.

    • To add more songs to your new playlist, repeat the process from Step 2, but choose your newly created playlist when SoundCloud displays it in Step 5.[1]
